A sneak peak from a session earlier this week. This family came all the way from Nebraska (ok, well Grandma lives here and saw my site and had them come down for portraits!) The boys were just adorable!
This one here is *SO* going up on my studio walls as a sample!

This little one did not feel too well and went home running a bit of of fever. They are coming back when he is better for some photos. Poor little thing!

I just love photographing this family! I have been photographing them since the littlest one was about 3 months old.



















Ok, I took this photo, then realized the boys were in background playing, so I had them move and took a few more photos. I get home and realized I LOVE THE ONE WITH THEM IN THE BACKGOUND LOL! Typical boys haha!



I *LOVED* walking through the house and seeing my photos *everywhere*! Every wall, every shelf! I just love seeing how others enjoy their photographs. She has several large photos in the bedroom that look great. She even has them on the wall in the kitchen that looks awesome! Here is just one photo of a shelf in the living room. (Thanks for letting me share this!)

Family Mini Session reminder!

Just a reminder that family mini sessions are this Saturday! I will email each of you by tomorrow. They will be done on a brown canvas backdrop with a brown leather sofa. These will be casual photos. The colors that would look really great would be browns, burgundys, black. But, any fall type colors would work. I would stay away from light colors or pastels--baby blue, yellows, etc.

If you would like to schedule a session for your family for Christmas photos, just call and I will get you on the schedule. Deadline for Christmas sessions will be November 14th if you want the portraits back in time for Christmas.

Clothing Choices

Need help with clothing choices for your upcoming shoot? Here are a few suggestions!
The right choice in clothes can really make a session GREAT! It can make the difference from a shot being "good" to "great". Many online stores now have outfit suggestions or shop by outfuts, which are a wonderful place to start. Old Navy and Gap are doing this now too. My new favorite for kids is Crewcuts by JCrew.

When thinking of clothing, keep in mind---layers, textures, sweaters, scarfs, jackets, vests, etc work wonderfully. You can bring all the clothes you want to the shoot and I will help you go through them. Different styles gives me different ideas and inspiration to work with.

Now, off to do some online shopping for my own Christmas photos LOL!

October 14th!!

Two more days until closing on the new studio! We did our final walk through this afternoon. They cleared out all their stuff and we are ready to get to work on it!
If anyone loves to paint, I am doing some bartering for some free photos and free sessions, just shoot me an email (this will be done after the sheetrocking).
I am just so excited!

CYSA Cheerleaders

Just a note to let you know that all the CYSA Cheerleader orders will be sent off today after 5:00. If you were wanting to place an order and have not yet (I think there may just be a couple that have not?) please get your order to me before 5:00.

GAP portraits--DELIVERED!

:) The preschool portraits have been packaged and delivered! (I must say, I am a bit sad to see them go hahaha! I loved looking at all their cute faces on my desk!)
